Living the Heritage is an initiative of Taj Colloquium, in partnership with Youth for Heritage Foundation, to build awareness at national level about our heritage, engage with communities in respecting our heritage sites, taking pride in them and passing on these places to future generations so that they understand what came before them.
Involvement with arts, literature and culture is crucial to imagination, self-expression and creativity in young people. It also develops the skills that fuel the success of the country’s creative industries that will result in the next generation of creative talent across the country.
Living the Heritage is an initiative to build awareness, through an innovative and creative process, about our heritage.
The project aims at educating and sensitising the students about the importance of heritage sites, who in-turn will be expected to go on to influence the society they chose to live in, by becoming conscious and responsible citizens.
The methodology to be applied is to educate target audience using alternate techniques. Awareness about the city and its past would be created by using different methods such as:
Youth for Heritage Foundation (YfHF) and Literary Bhagidari will be implementing partners of the project.
